Hey everyone! First of all thank you so much for subscribing to my blogs and praying for me in this journey! A couple new things in my life since my last blog is that I am starting my new school schuedle on monday the 25th and I am so incredibly nervous. Having gone to ACA all my life Ive never had to change spaces or even challenge myself to make new friends but here I am! so I would love it if you would pray over me in the upcoming weeks for this new start. Another new thing that I am struggling with a little bit is missing out on all the things going on at ACA(the school I went to from 4-17) including volleyball, senior pictures, and dinners, the start to school where all my friends and my boyfriend are beginning their new year without me. While I am so excited to begin this journey and I am confident in the choice the lord has called me to make, it is hard to not be doing all of the normal things with the people I love and adapt to change, so I would also love prayers for confidence and strengthened relationships as they under go changes. As an update for my trip I have finished a set of training and will be reciving prayer cards soon which I plan to be giving to you guys! I also have created a presentation about my trip and the organization I am going with, and have gone through training with it to learned how to effectively present it and I would love to start setting up meetings with everyone who is interest so feel free to reach out if that is you! Prayers for my team as some of them are leaving very soon for the nine month trip would be great too! My launch day is getting closer and closer and I cannot wait to see what God has instore for me!!

~ Layla, your willingness to go out in faith to follow what the Lord has put on your heart is huge. Your decision to graduate early so you can serve others and spread the gospel is an adventure you will grow upwards by doing. Prayer and your faithfulness have led you in this direction. God has huge plans for you and I’m in awe of your courage and selflessness. He is making a way for you and I can’t wait to see all the good that will come from this mission trip.
